Revere Joins NASBLA’s “Officer of the Year” to Award Outstanding Water Safety Law Enforcement Officers

August 10, 2010 - Revere Survival Products announces their alliance with National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) in recognizing outstanding Water Safety Law Enforcement Officers through the prestigious “Officer of the Year” award. This award, which is a single, national-level award, is determined from three regional-level winners. NASBLA's Butch Potts Boating Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award Program was created in 2000 to honor outstanding individuals and organizations that assist NASBLA in their contributions to recreational boating safety and help the organization pursue its strategic objectives.
This year’s contestants for the top award are Conservation Officer Aaron Kahre from Minnesota, for the Northern Region, Master Officer Robert Wayne from North Carolina, winner of the Southern Region, and Arizona’s Sergeant Doug Schuster for the Western Region.
John M. Johnson, Executive Director of National Association of State Boating Law Administrators, expressed his enthusiasms about the sponsorship: “The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators is pleased and proud to partner with Revere Supply Company to recognize the outstanding marine patrol officers across the country. This year’s national recipient will be announced at the NASBLA Awards Banquet held during the organization's Annual Conference at the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii, September 10th -14th. NASBLA also celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year.
