Revere Sponsors Largest Kingfish Tournament in U.S.
Monday July 12, 2010 -- Revere is sponsoring, as well as participating in, the 2010 AT&T Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournanment -- the largest of it’s kind held in the United States. Proceeds from the event will go toward an oceanographic scholarship fund, help preserve fishing habitats, and further environmental awareness and conservation, all headed by Jacksonville Marine Charities, Inc.
As part of the 2010 sponsorship, Revere will donate several ComfortMax inflatables and other goods towards the event.
“We are extremely excited to be part of the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament,” says Revere’s Vice President of Sales, Jim Cermak. “Not only are we sponsoring the largest event of this kind, we also have one of our own participating.”
The two-day general tournament will be held on the Intercoastal Waterway in Jacksonville, Florida. With other events included, the entire event spans almost one week long, from July 19th to the 24th.
